Thank you for your service.
As a Veteran, there are a number of state and federal benefits available to you and your family. We understand the daunting task of adjusting to your new post-active duty life. It is the mission of the New York State Division of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to advocate on your behalf and ensure that you receive all the benefits and services you are entitled to by law.
As a first step, please schedule an appointment with a DVA State Veterans Counselor. DVA counselors are knowledgeable in a wide variety of services related to benefits, healthcare, education, pension, home loans, disability compensation, and much more. Counselors can assist in identifying and applying for federal, state, and local benefits; obtaining necessary documentation; and resolving social, medical, and financial matters.
For assistance, schedule an appointment with a New York State Division of Veterans’ Affairs (NYS DVA) State Veterans Counselor.
